Thank you for all the amazing submissions. I am really happy with the simple barn design format and the incorporation of a wizard wand. I have updated the name to separate words of Barn and Wiz, thinking they should be different colors or unique to each other. I like the idea of using a horse design to spell barn and the Wiz incorporated with a magic wand. I look forward to additional updates to your designs.

I need a logo design for a new company based in Northern Virginia called "Barnwiz". Barnwiz is a revolutionary way for barn owners, horse owners and horse trainers to integrate data surrounding the care, training and wellness of a horse. I am thinking of a logo with an old fashioned red barn and a wizard in the middle. Not a Lord of the Rings wizard, but a technology wizard that enables the data to be integrated and data entery to be a simple smartphone app. The final design should communicate we are a barn management, horse health, training and wellness management software company. I don't want words other than the name in the logo and it needs to be simple to be visable on a t-shrit or a business card. Minimal colors and viewable in a black or white background. Users should see a fun, whimsical logo with a barn, horse and wizard entity, be creative and think outside of the box.

Barnwiz is a revolutionary concept of managing the communication and details of a horse barn. The cloud based solution enables a single platform of information about the barn, horse, horse owner, horse trainer, vet and farrier or other supportive service providers. Once the barn is set-up online, a smartphone app is used to make adjustments. Barnwiz initially encompasses three main categories; the barn, horse trainer and the horse. The Barn enables the farm owner to create a barn profile describing its location, amenities and rates. That profile is turned into the website content automatically, without the barn owner having to manage the updates and details of a website domain. Think Hotels.com for the horse industry, using a single map you will find all the barns in your designated area. Barnwiz also enables the barn owner to update and send invoices to boarders right from their phone. The invoicing feature also allows the horse owner to see the invoice total as soon as it is updated; even of it is prior to receiving an actual invoice. This way a horse owner will never be surprised at the barn fee per month. Think of an online bank account and the invoice is a monthly statement.
The second element of Barnwiz is the horse, linked to both the barn and trainer elements. Each horse has a profile with a picture(s) for identification. This module tracks the vaccination history, feed the horse eats including hay, grain and vitamins/supplements, medications, identifies the stall where he lives indoors and the field he lives outdoors. The clothing he is to wear when turned out (boots, fly mask, sheet or winter blankets) with temperature details outlines by the owner eliminating the guess work and half erased white boards listing the information for turn in or out staff. The smartphone app has an attitude feature showing rating the horses overall wellness and attitude with a smiley face, frown for a lost shoe or curled nose for a refusal to eat.
The third element of Barnwiz is the trainer app., linked to both the barn and horse. The trainer has a profile describing focus area, training location(s), rates and accomplishments. Pictures and videos can also be posted to support the trainer profile. Trainers can post a calendar showing availability for lessons or ride, receive requests for lessons/rides via text message and accept/decline or respond with adjustments as a business person would to manage appointments. Each student and horse also has a profile showing the history of lessons, notes, mileage requirements and other details outlining the progress of the student. Group notifications to all students offering lessons or tips for training, ride/lesson evaluation and payment for services rendered can be done remotely or at the time of service. No more cash or written checks and the ability for the trainer to forecast lesson income based on scheduled rides/lessons will directly improve their cashflow.
