Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am developing a business delivering group based mindfulness programs. Initially I'll be focussing on community members (particularly women), but hope to eventually move into delivering mindfulness in organisations, so the logo needs to be something that can span both a community and a corporate setting.

Mindfulness was originally developed through the Eastern contemplative traditions (primarily Buddhist meditation practices), but is essentially a secular (non religious) practice that aims to provide the skills for people to live with greater awareness, and increased kindness and compassion.

I need a logo that represent a sense of calm and accessability, and it should have no religious content in it.

I'm open to a variety of designs, but I have two particular types of design in mind:
1. Something simple and clean, with a Japanese calligraphy feel. Similar to this type of design (not the design itself, but the style of the design):

2. Something feminine and organic - possibly in deep/organic green. I've included some examples of similar designs/websites to give you a sense of what I mean.

I think the colours blue and green lend themselves well to this sort of design, but you could also experiment with dusky pinks, or 'earthy' colours.

My target audience will primarily be people who are stressed, and looking for ways to manage their stress levels, they will primarily be female (but not exclusively).

The primary text is my name "Rachel Davey", with "mindfulness practitioner" in smaller text as a by line
