Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for a charitable organization called "Gregory's Gifts".
Nice, but not too "girly". We would like it to incorporate blue, possibly a couple different shades of blue, maybe gray.

The slogan is "Living out a legacy, one random gift at a time". The organization will now have three programs- a social component, encouraging others to leave small "gifts" in their own lives; monthly missions, organized buy the organization, to contribute to a wide variety of causes in our communities (a new one is selected each month), in addition to the ongoing fundraisers to help fill larger needs.

This organization was founded in memory of someone who has died. There are a couple of symbols that we hold important in that respect- one is a (blue) cardinal, essentially a blue jay, and the other is a sun dog (in very cold weather, the sun reflects in the ice crystals in the sky, it appears as though it has a halo around it, and sometimes as three suns). I am going to attach a picture to be clear. We would like to see a logo that incorporates one or both of these, however abstractly.

Would like to see a logo that includes the tagline, but we would also be interested in something smaller for a profile picture- I couldn't find an option to select more than one product, but didn't want to post it as a separate project either, because they definitely need to coordinate. Didn't know what else to do but mention it here.
