Designers are invited to edit existing photos of some of the world's most famous landmarks, without people.

If you’ve ever visited the Eiffel Tower, Opera House, Pyramids of Giza, Taj Mahal, the Colosseum, Statue of Liberty or Machu Picchu, you’ll know that they are always inundated with tourists.

To show off these places in all of their glory, the DesignCrowd team thought it would be cool to see what the world’s most famous landmarks would look like without people.

All submissions must include the original picture that has been edited, so we can see the interesting before and after contrast.

Here are a few landmarks to get you going, but all ideas are welcome:
