Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We need a high impact, high color logo designed for a new company called "Route 66 Antique Truck Parts". We will be an online catalog company serving the Antique vehicle restoration hobby. The fun part of designing this new company logo will be your ability to utilize the world famous iconic "Route 66" U.S. Highway sign (find hundreds of examples of the sign on Google) as the primary centerpiece in the artwork. The existing sign artwork done by hundreds of artists on the internet shows both a Black & White version and a Red and Blue version of the famous road sign - I am open to logos containing either version used but I am sort of leaning towards the Red & Blue version because the vivid Red and Blue colors might present better when used on T-shirts, marketing materials and eventually the Website. The sky is the limit on creative ways you can incorporate the iconic road sign image into a logo or brand identity - We will be catering to 1955 through 1966 truck restorers and hobbyists primarily, so if your artistic flare has an idea for adding the 1955 to 1966 year range somewhere in the design, that could be cool too - otherwise not necessary. My initial idea spark was that one potential logo design could employ the use of artist rendered pickup truck images (maybe 2 on the left and 2 on the right for example or 1 on each side and room for other graphics related to Route 66?) on each side of the road sign image in the center, with the oldest pickup trucks on the left (maybe a 1958 Chevrolet Cameo & 1957 GMC Suburban Carrier), and the two on the right could be 60's trucks (a 1961 Chevrolet Apache and a 1966 Chevrolet C10 for example) - all deluxe models with chrome bumpers and grilles, factory wheels and hubcaps and sporting bright red, Blue, Green etc colored paint schemes etc. We are not going to be catering to the "resto-mod" enthusiasts – instead we will mostly be catering to those folks who are doing historic restorations returning their trucks to "all original" condition - so with that said, the artwork related to these truck images needs to reflect non-modified 100% stock vehicles vs what you more commonly see on car show T-shirts and parts source websites where the vehicle artwork may show flame jobs, purple and bright yellow colors, or dropped, chopped and otherwise modified trucks. We do not want any of that on these images. Examples of the models of truck I described above are attached, and hundreds of similar examples are available off Google images.
All the above info is just to get your brain working in the direction we are talking about - nothing is off the table so let your creative spirit free with this project. I do recommend a little internet reading and scanning on “Route 66” in general so you get the feel of “Americana” simplicity of days gone by, and a love of American classic vehicles and their history across the generations. Hope this helps….

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Deadline is extended due to the quality of the submissions being so good so far. I have committed to buy more than one designers work - I have multiple uses for the designs - T-shirts, marketing materials, website etc so please send your ideas. Some will be a "logo" maybe and some will aid in the identity and brand recognition of the new company in other ways. Bright colors, multi-image drawings and artwork involving the models of trucks specified is highly desirable. Thank you and I look forward to working with you all.....
