Hi, I would love to work on a logo for your new name and museum. My question is if something like a building in the logo would sound good to you. i would love to include maybe a silhouette of something that is in the area to make it more special.

Hello, If you take a look at our website, www.rlrlm.org - we have a logo with a log and boom chain and some trees. Board members are quite sentimental to this design as it was originally designed by a member who has passed. You are welcome to take our current design and incorporate a spin off with the Maine Forestry Museum name.

Or, you can take some trees/forest silhouetted or a photo of perhaps draft horses pulling logs, or something that would bring the essence of "logging" into the theme of the logo.

We have changed our name to due the negative tone that "logging" created when back in the early 2000's logging companies were stripping/clear-cutting the land.
