We need a logo for our 1950s themed mens and womens hairdressers serving staff and students at the University of Manchester, England.

The salon will have a 1950s Americana Diner feel.
We would like to incorporate:

A graphic that hints at education, for example, a mortar board or scrolls.

A 1950s style 'quiff' and dark glasses within the lettering - similar to the way 'Grease' is written in promotion of the film/musical - for example sprouting out of the last 'S' of 'Masters'.

A colour scheme including bright red, with an element of a cool 1950s blue.

The logo will be used on external and internal signage and promotional material
