Hi Smart Apps Art, the payment is now guaranteed. Looking forward to you and the other designers'' submittions.

Just to let you know that although designers may accept a project, doesn't mean they will submit work. What usually happens is that other jobs become more important if pay and amount of work involved is fairer. You may get some designs, maybe not the quality you may be after. Just some advice. thanks

Thanks for the feedback.
Alas I never got a notification from design crowd that you replied or I'd have been back sooner!
1900 was my 3rd or 4th try... LOL.

Are the spaceships designed?
If so, they could inform the direction of the other elements of the game...

I have basic 3D models standing in for the starships at the moment, to prove the game mechanics are working. New 3D models with textures will be made.

Well done on getting to a 1900 score though - it's a good score!

Thanks for the "official" invite.
Though I'm very intrigued by the project, I am confused about the direction you want to go with it.

The chosen font (orbitron) in conjunction with my understanding of the game play leads the design in one direction, but specifying the intended audience is children and women (and the specified colors) take it in the complete opposite direction.

Are you thinking something comical/cartoonish?

por Propietario del proyecto el sábado, 15 de noviembre de 2014

Yes, that's exactly what I have in mind. The 3D models are going to be changed and the sounds will be made more organic.

Cartoonish is indeed a good style.

The logo should fit in a square format but doesn't need to be an actual square. I'm thinking of the Facebook icons here.

The logo and the button should be flat, not perspective 3D.

The font orbitron can be changed to another font that's more suitable, but then it should be a web font fully compatible with browsers. It's probably a good idea to use a font from http://www.google.com/fonts

Does that make more sense?

If the fonts are converted to outlines in the svg, then it shouldn't matter if it's a webfont.
It's my bedtime here in the states. can you extend the project? I'd love to put something together!
