The name of the company is "Akanthos" and its tagline is "Reflections of Beauty". Acanthos is a plant whose leaves were used for decorative purposes since ancient times (see ancient Greek corinthian stile pillars).

Akanthos brand celebrates beauty and its reflection in those who wear its jewels or offer them as gifts. Akanthos’s jewels are original and unique pieces of art which express the joy of life and awaken our capacity to dream. They trascend the external aesthetic form and vanity in order to reach the heart. Akanthos expresses the magic creative force of the artistic act which can transform the insignificant raw material into a fascinating and magic piece of jewellery.
