There are going to be three winners, and the money has already been paid and confirmed:

First place wins $200 cash

You can probably be one of these winners! I'm going to provide less feedback than in previous contests since I don't have quite as much time. I'm still watching each design!

Here's a few tips that will help YOU win!!

Please avoid serifed fonts - stick with Sans Serif fonts unless you've got a really great/modern serif font. Prefer modern fonts. Arial is ok, for instance, but not great, but a used-up serifed font like Times Roman is not appropriate for a modern logo.

Please use some combination of red, green, white, or black. Yellow and orange are ok, too. Use at least two colors but only two is just fine, too. If you want to update the shades of the colors (using a more modern green than in the current logo, for instance), that's great, too!

Please avoid textures and gradients, since they don't work as well on certain media. (For example, it's almost impossible to embroider a texture or a gradient onto a shirt.)

Please avoid iconography such as pictures of pizza's, hamburgers, sub sandwiches, etc, no matter how well they're done. (I just saw a very nicely done logo but it had a hamburger in it, and at least half of our customers are actually pizza places!)

Stick with simple, clean, vector shapes with simple, clean colors. Thanks for participating!

Please show your (awesome!) ideas on white or dark colored backgrounds (charcoal grey, #444444), since the website will be white and the mobile app will be charcoal grey/black.

Some neat ideas so far are the racetrack checkered flag and checkered stripes, flames, taking a bite out of something, forks, etc.

We're back on!

Thanks for your patience! DesignCrowd unlocked the contest so that we could finish. Paul @ Rhythm Graphics still won first place, but there are still second and third prizes ($150 and $100) left!!

Huge shout-out to DesignCrowd for awesome customer service as always!! Thanks for all of your efforts on all of these AMAZING, beautiful logos - let's finish this thing!

Thanks for your awesome entries!! There were at least three or four more that I would have awarded too if I could and it was a very hard decision.

I have launched another contest!!! I would love to see your entries. It's for a tradeshow banner that will be shown at South by Southwest (SXSW) next month! The size is hard to work with, seven feet tall by only two feet wide, and $160 for First Place.

This is for another one of my startups called Userify. (Check it out at Userify.com - that's just a throwaway placeholder site - a new site is coming soon!)

Only one entry in that contest so far, and just one prize - but if there are more than ten entries in that contest then I'll add a second place prize winner as well!
