I'm not sure exactly how it works from the side of a person acquiring services (graphics, etc.).

There should be a way for you to set the project so that the payment is guaranteed. Meaning it's 100%, you will decide and pay the top design.

Yes, once you pay for the project Design Crowd sends the funds to the winning designer.

I'd love to work on the project, but the status isn't guaranteed. Which can mean designers works for hours on it then the creator of the project can hit the road and basically abandoned the project. Not suggesting you would do that, just shedding some light on why a few designers mentioned that.

Generally, the better designers wont work unless it says "payment guaranteed" on the project brief.

If you can figure it out please let me know. I would actually like to work on your project. Cheers.
