Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need to have a logo designed. The logo should be based on the motif of Trinacria as seen on the flag of Sicily (search for "flag of sicily" or "trinacria" or "trinakria" on Google, see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Sicily).
The character is sometimes drawn using only the three legs and omitting the face, however the logo must include the face - in fact the face is the central point of the logo, somewhat more important than the legs.
The logo needs to be black and white (need both black on white and white on black versions). There should be no shades of gray, black and white only. I need a version where the logo is incorporated inside a circle of grecian key as well as a "standalone" version.

Overall the logo should have similar feel to Versace logo which could be used for inspiration. The logo should have distinct mediterranean (Roman / Greek) feel to it.

The logo needs to include good level of detail, the motif of Trinacria should not be too simplified to the extent that significant amount of detail is lost.

The logo needs to scale well so it can be used on printed materials of a large-ish size (A4 or so) as well as on business cards. If you feel it better to create two or more differently sized versions rather than one scaleable one, please let me know.

Following this project we will need a number of additional designs related to this one so we are looking for an ongoing collaboration - that will be a separate project of course.

• Clean design, elegant and well executed, evoking the idea of ancient mediterranean cultures. Must provide black-on-white and white-on-black version, each with and without the circle of grecian key. Must provide at least two different size versions or ensure that the design scales well from small (business card-size) to large (full page) size. Should include good level of detail.
