Hi there-- My business partner and I are seeking a modified version of the sample attached. We are starting a Google Hangout/Radio Show about Re-Framing Death, Dying, Grief and Loss from an experience of overwhelm and fear to one of connection, meaning and awe. To do this we don't want the traditional images of death and loss. We are wanted to open the conversation about death and dying in new ways and therefore want to give it it a light, sometimes whimsical feel, that allows people to begin the conversation because it is not as daunting as the traditional images would suggest. So, the image attached is an approximation of what we are looking for. To create a cartoon version of angels, that have our actual faces in the graphic, but instead of--facing death with sorrow, it can be faced with a lighter entree to the topic. To provide a sample of what we were thinking about, I have attached a sample from an image I found on the internet, with our faces on there. Please create something similar that we can call our own, and does not plagiarize this artist's image--but has the whimsey and feel of this-- I also see that our halo's are for one of us, ether twisted and the other somewhat broken--sort of like "Death, with a funny twist". Please also keep in mind that we could possibly animate each of the angels flying across the screen in a banner, header, or video animation if we chose to (that my be a different order, er understand). Please use this attached cover image as a guide but we are open to your own personal spin or twist. I have uploaded pictures of us so that you can place us in the graphic you create. For Patty, choose what ever one works best. We may have additional pictures for you once we see the drafts.
