Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The logo should incorporate a trident and a US Flag, with one of the stripes on the flag being a "thin blue line" consistent with law enforcement traditions. I would like to see a rustic, tattered look to the flag with shades of gray and black rather than the traditional red, white, and blue. One of my original thoughts was to use the trident as a flag pole but i am open to suggestions and creative license in this respect. The logo should convey security, trust, and boldness rather than be whimsical and cartoonish. Think law enforcement, military, government.
