We need a suite of 3 banner ads designed to promote an upcoming professional investment conference. The banner ads should convey a feeling of exclusivity, high quality and corporate professionalism (for inspiration please visit https://www.ft-live.com/ , this site has a revolving banner which demonstrates the kind of graphic design style we are looking for.) The banners should not be cheesy or tacky!

The banner ad sizes we require are as follows: 1 x Leaderboard (728x90px), 1 x Medium Rectangle (300x250px), and 1 x Half-Page Ad (300x600px) (standard IAB sizes). Please include a 1 pixel grey border around the ads. The banners should all be in-sync and follow the same design/format, i.e. uniform fonts and colours across the 3 banners. Obviously the canvas size of the banners varies, with the larger formats able to contain more information. However, they should each contain the core event information: the event name (Smart Beta Europe Conference); the date (Wednesday 21st January 2015); the venue (Cass Business School); the logo of the conference’s platinum sponsor (iShares, please see attached file. FYI, the iShares logo should be set against a white background. Please also ensure that they are identified as the “Platinum sponsor”); and a tagline saying "Please register now". On the half-page ad (300x600px) there should be room for additional information, including the full address of the event (Cass Business School, 106 Bunhill Row, London, EC1Y 8TZ) and some descriptive text (“Register now for Europe’s “must attend” smart beta conference, with speakers from iShares, Goldman Sachs, MSCI, FTSE, WisdomTree Europe, Invesco PowerShares, Cass Business School and ETFGI”).

In terms of design, the banners should include an image. Ideally, the image should be a graphic portraying smart intelligent investment management. FYI, “smart beta” is a style of systematic quantitative investment management which sits between active management (i.e. discretionary fund managers buying and selling shares to achieve high returns) and passive index-tracking investment management (i.e. fund managers which follow an index such as the FTSE 100 or Dow Jones). As a suggestion, smart beta could be spelt using the Greek letter for beta, β , i,e.“Smart βeta”. If you are unable to source a suitable graphic, an alternative image could be the EU flag or the skyline of London’s financial district.
