My music partner (male) and I (female) have a duo in which we perform Appalachian old time music. We each play fiddle, clawhammer banjo, guitar, and sing. We'd like a logo design that can be used on business cards, promo materials (bio brochure - paper and electronic versions, web advertisements by our venues, etc.). We want to convey "FUN." Our music is mountain music played on wooden instruments, so earthy colors would be nice - greens, browns, golds. We're not locked into color schemes, though, so if you have other ideas we're open.

- We'd like to convey to people that our music is fun to listen to, to sing along with, to dance to, and we'll get their toes to tapping.

- Some ideas - fiddle, clawhammer banjo (open back, 5-string banjo), dancing or tapping feet.

- Our music is NOT Bluegrass music, nor do we play Bluegrass banjos (with resonator backs).
We'd like to avoid the hillbilly "Hee-Haw" stereotype of old time southern music. Many of our musical sources were hard-working people living a hard mountain life and we'd like to respect that.
