Dear contest holder, I believe it would be better to ask lawyers about copyright infringement in case of Superman logo. However I can tell you for sure that from professional designer's perspective it's not acceptable to create derivatives from existing logos unless it's a question of re-branding.

Hi, i sent the superman logo just to gave all of you an idea....nothing else.....i think for this i dont need a lawyer, right?
As you said: professional designers have to be creative and with a lot of fantasy to do a great job
