From this contest you need designs only PSD? or HTML-CSS? or Joomla theme?

I am not Web technology savy, so please help me out here. It seems like you are willing to provide PSD designs, but you believe the budget is too low for Joomla or HTML-CSS themes.

What do I lose out on If I only receive PSD themes? Does that mean I cannot host the website on a CMS like Joomla?

Hi,

Step 1: Designer make design, normally final deliverable file is a PSD or PNG or AI, these are layered source files.
These source files are editable in their respective software/tools.

Step 2: Once design is finalized as PSD, Developer or Designer slice it and create HTML-CSS for that design. These Html-CSS files are editable in standard html editing tools

Step 3: If you want your to have some CMS, you need a Joomla/Drupal Developer/Programmer to develop the website using that platform. In some cases Programmers does not require html-css, but only PSD files and develop theme using that.

Ans: you will get finalized design, and you then require a developer to make theme based on that design. This is because normally developers are not designers and vice-versa.

One Question: Why do you feel you need Joomla or Drupal? if your concern is about CMS only then why not WordPress? We recommend going for WP

thanks Faisal, I am now clear about this. We are okay with PSD files, and will figure out a developer in the next phase who can develop the website after this step.

WP is also an option if it supports my requirements.
