Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are a company that handles custom engineering projects for our customers. We specialize in machine control and software development - meaning, we build all sorts of types of machines for manufacturing, labs, etc, and we design the software that controls all of the equipment.

We're looking for a logo that communicates what we do to our prospective clients, while being relatively straightforward and simple. We are not too tied down to any particular ideas, but having a stylized company name as part of the logo, as well as some subset of the logo that can stand alone would be very helpful to us.

I've uploaded our current working logo. Feel free to follow that idea and improve on it or scrap it altogether. The logo currently shows a "step response" (a huge thing in the field of controls) framing the company name.
