Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I am extending the deadline as my partner has had to go out of town until the middle of next week, so we need more time to make a decision. This will also give us time to go over any revisions that may be needed. Thank you to all that have submitted designs and we will be in touch as soon as we have a decision. Please keep them coming!

We have been getting lots of similar designs - almost all containing a car outline and/or a maple leaf. 

The car outline is just far too generic, and our logo doesn’t have to hit-them-over-the-head with Canadianna; we can't "own" the maple leaf. Therefore, we feel that a more subtle use of Canadian imagery (such as a less pronounced maple leaf, or clever usage of colours) would be more appropriate. We think the Canadian component should be more about who we are rather than we find cars. We're not so much finding cars that were made in Canada, we're finding Cars and we happen to be a Canadian company. 

We would like the essence of our Find A Car brand to be  industry expertise, hassle-free convenience, professionalism, quality service and honesty. We are a small family run business therefore  although we want to communicate professionalism, we would like to stay away from anything that suggests ‘big company’ or flashy. We would like to represent that we connect the right cars with the right people an our image (and ideally logo) needs to communicate this element of connection and customization.

 As we have not yet found a design that is the clear winner, we will be extending the deadline. We appreciate all of the hard work you have been doing thus far, please review these new points, and feel free to resubmit your designs. Thank you designers, and good luck!
