Are your apps needs login for first time use?
just to make sure, i am on a right track.
actually i am never use both apps that you said on description.

The user does not need to login at any time. Any user can join a group by having a 4 digit code and nothing more.

I have updated the brief with an image of the flow as well as a use-case for the different features in the app. Hope you find this useful.
