I am a consultant who carries out 3D computer modelling for the mining and exploration industry. I am looking for a fully funcitonal corporate looking website for a small business and my logo is hosted at www.gmex.com.au. I will need around 7 pages or so (a description and sitemap are in a document called Gmex Website_brief.pdf , this document along with pictures and logo can be found at http://www.gmex.com.au/gmexpics). The pages will be mostly static with some simple flash transitions and a simple enquiry form on a contact page. Otherwise just text and pics +/- flash. I will want to be able to update the pages myself, so what options are available for doing this (e.g. wordpress?). I also want it cross-browser and cross-platform friendly e.g. xhtml?

Please have a look at the above samples to get a feel for what I am after. It’s a relatively simple standing site and I would want it done in a colour scheme that matches my logo which is blue and silver. I already have the domain name and hosting setup.

• Cross platform and cross browser functionality e.g. can be seen in different browsers and on mobiles etc.. wirtten in xhtml?
  Search Engine optimisation. LinkedIn connection?

Agradable de tener

• Some simple blending of header pictures with logo to give it a nice flow, rather than sharp discrete images. Some artistic licence is welcomed. Some flash style in banner? I have a lot of images and backgrounds to choose from now located on my website.
