TKJingles.com (TKJ) is a crowdsourced music & comedy website focused on parody music for the Tony Kornheiser Radio Show. TKJ looking for a logo to promote its 2015 "World Tour" which will kick off in Annandale, VA and end 2 hours later at the same location. The graphic design for this project must incorporate the text "TK Jingles 2015 World Tour." It should communicate that this event will be "epic" and "global." The final design should evoke a concert poster or tour T-shirt from an 80s rock band.

In the same way that all the music on TKJ is a parody, this promotion is a complete parody as well. The logo is actually for a one-off performance but is being presented as a "World Tour" as a self-effacing joke given the modest means of this enterprise. So the more grand and self-important the logo, the better.

TKJ has an established logo which is used for the Website, the iTunes podcast & for the mobile apps on Android and iPhone. The logo has a microphone and musical notes with Rum Raisin text on an orange background. The "World Tour" logo can incorporate elements of that theme but this is a standalone promotion so the designer should not feel constrained to use ANY legacy content other than the "TK Jingles 2015 World Tour" text. The final design will be used for a Twitter campaign and will be printed on a limited run of T-Shirts. For printing, the color palette of the final design should include 5 of fewer colors and present well on a heather gray or ash gray background.
