Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I require a logo for a rock climbing instruction and guiding business called Sydney Rock Climbing.

The business caters for indoor and outdoor climbing instruction for both adults and children. As such, it should have a fresh and energising to look to it.

Initial work has been been done on the logo already (see attachments) and is awaiting completion.

A concept from which to work from, (see Sydney Rock Climbing attachments) has already been done and is awaiting further work for completion.

The concept incorporates what is meant to be the Sydney Opera House with a climber climbing on it.

One of the inspirations for using the Sydney Opera House comes from the annual Vivid Festival (see attachment: Vivid Sydney) which projects images and patterns on to the "Sails" of the building.

The desired look for the "sails" of the Opera House are to be geometric in shape and to resemble the look of a climbing "volume" as is used for indoor climbing (see attachment).

The geometric shapes in the logo should be 3D and work in both colour as well as black and white depending on where they are to be used.

The idea is for the geometric volumes to replace the sails of the Sydney Opera House in a way that clearly identifies with climbing while still being constructed closely enough to still resemble the Opera House.

The colours considered for use are: green, blue and orange (see attachment: colours_harness).

The text "Sydney Rock Climbing" should not compete with the logo however it should be unique and and strong enough to stand alone should it be used in conjunction with individual components of the logo.

A secondary level of text also needs to be incorporated under the Sydney Rock Climbing heading. This should read as:

Sydney Rock Climbing
Guiding and Instruction

This secondary text needs to be removable as is required depending on how the logo is being used and should not affect the overall look of the logo.

The logo needs to be scaleable for uses ranging from business cards, letterheads and t-shirts through to larger scale prints and banners
