Logo Re-Design Temecula Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run

I am looking for a logo redesign for the 2015 Temecula Half Marathon. I want the logo to be sleek and modern looking mainly a font logo with a small creative icon. Something not obvious but fun. The event is at a winery and wine is the main theme of the event. I am also looking for someone to do freelance projects for me moving forward if we work well together!
