Logo Design Project for an open source web app

Esto es lo que Hue buscaba en su logo design

Hi!
We need a logo redesign for the open source web app we are working on (http://cloudera.github.com/hue/)
The webapp itself is undergoing re-design and it's gonna be very 'flat' and stylish (ie. Gmail/Google Analytics) so we need a refreshed logo too (the old one is attached).
Hue is a user interface that was created to help interact with Hadoop. Hadoop's mascot is an elephant (hence the elephant paw in the current one).
