High tech surface-coating company needs logo

Esto es lo que SiOx buscaba en su logo design

We need a logo for a new company based in Copenhagen.
The Company is called SiOx and develops a nano coating technology to protect metal surfaces from corrosion in aggresive (acidic or alkali) media.
Basically it is a very thin layer of glass, which due to the thin thickness < 1 micron is flexible like the metal it protects, yet has the surface characteristics as glass.
We apply the the coating by spraying a liquid substance on to the metalic component we want to protect, then we make sure all the droplets reflow and form a uniform pin-hole free sheet of liquid on the metal, and then finally cure the component in an oven.
The key molecule in the liquid glass is a cubic molecule of Silica Oxide. The substance is some times referred to as liquid glass.
