Alliance Drum & Bugle Corps:

We are a non-profit, competitive marching music organization, similar to a marching band. We typically have 65-130 members, ranging in age from 15-30 years old and many travel from other states to participate. During the summer, we compete against 15-20 other drum corps from around the country, culminating in a championship weekend in Rochester, NY or Annapolis, MD.

We compete in the DCA (Drum Corps Associates) circuit, which consists of all-age drum corps from the US and the UK. Since our inception in 2005, we have been undefeated in DCA South, won a DCA Class A Championship in 2008, and been an Open Class finalist since 2009.

Alliance tends to have an average participant age of 20-22, while most corps' average ages are above 35. This gives us the ability to perform faster, more complex programs than most other corps. The DCA community and our fans associate us with youth, innovation, speed, and aggressiveness.
