Logo Design for meetup group Sweetlake PHP

Esto es lo que Sweetlake PHP buscaba en su logo design

We need a logo for a meetup group. It is based in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. Zoetermeer has a nickname: sweetlake
The meetup group is for (PHP) developers; therefor the name: Sweetlake PHP.

PHP has his own logo: an elephant.

We want a reference to this elephant. Our own idea is:
A big "S" for Sweetlake and the trunk of an elephant.
A big "P" for the ear of the elephant and the first letter of PHP.

I've made a sketch tot represent our idea, we just need the professionals to make it into THE logo we need and want.
