Cherry Picked Travel is a new online venture targeting the independent traveller who earns a middle to high income and is time poor. They want rich, interesting travel experiences, but don't have a lot of time to research and book. They hate organised tours, but need to experience the best a location has to offer without spending a lot of time.
The target market is aged between 35 and 60 and lives in Australia. They will be professionals and may be travelling with children. If they are travelling with children they don't want to go to the typical child friendly locations.
Cherry Picked Travel's customer profile: They are highly informed, easily distracted, time poor but intimately involved in major purchase decisions. They seek and collect experiences which is why they have an SLR camera and a Facebook page full of interesting photos from international locations. They hate doing what everyone else is doing.
