SaproGreen is a company that is excavating Sapropel and selling it worldwide.

The name Sapropel derived from the Greek language for ‘decaying sludge’ - it is a substance of biological origin, which generates at the bottom of freshwater lakes and rivers as a result of natural processes by bacterial decomposition.
These processes are the result of lack oxygen.

Sapropel is used as an excellent bio-fertilizer, it contains all the 14 micro and macro elements that are essential for plant growth and is therefore used and in high demand for soil improvement and organic agriculture.

Sapropel is green bio/organic fertilizer which can turn deserts into farmlands due to its ability to hold water and its nutrients and minerals.
