Man Weekend (www.manweekend.org) is an Texas based semi-annual event created for close friends to reconnect, catch up and keep in touch in person. The world is a busy place and too often email, text messages and the cell phone have replaced face to face human interaction amongst lifelong friends. The organization is gender exclusive and gatherings are strictly limited to men. No children, spouse, partner or any other "legally obligated person" related to participants of any kind are allowed to participate for the simple reason that the weekend is for guys to spend time together, consume libations, interact and behave (or rather misbehave) - without any concern of offending loved ones.

Fishing, firearms, brisket (BBQ), cigars, poker and alcohol are all present at event gatherings. Gatherings are always based in Texas. State pride is also very much present at events.
