Logo Design Project for a parents & babies business

We need a logo for a business I'm developing based in San Antonio, TX. It's geared to expecting and new parents. We plan to provide merchandise, educational classes (childbirth, childcare, child development), community, and support groups (breastfeeding, sleep, emotional).

The business is called: "Kangas & Roos" and includes the tagline: "Parenting in Baby Steps."

The design should be friendly and appealing to both moms. We don't have particular colors in mind but they should be welcoming and inviting. The business intends to develop a community where people will feel comfortable seeking information and making friends who are in the same stage in life. The logo should reflect this sentiment.
