Non-for-profit - for kids and teens with loneliness and increased societal pressures

We are starting an organization (LonelyinaCrowd.org) which focuses on helping middle age elementary kids who suffer from loneliness, shyness, bullying and depression. Increased social isolation from the pandemic, numerous virtual settings and the addictive nature of social media is causing lowered self esteem and feelings of isolation. The organization also aims to connect teens with middle age elementary kids who have suffered from feelings of depression and loneliness themselves, giving them a chance to act as leaders in the community, boosting their self-esteem and helping younger kids understand that things are not always as they seem. It’s a chance for both younger generations to empathize with each other and grow stronger together, knowing their full worth and advocating for the “cool factor” in values such as basic kindness, compassion and integrity.
