Resort Realty of St. George Island needs a logo and business card design

I have an idea in mind, but I need the expertise of a professional. We are a small, independent real estate company located on a little Island in the Panhandle of Florida. I want it to be a combination of a classical/traditional financial/real estate brand but not stuffy. I definitely DON'T want palm trees, jumping dolphins, boats, a lighthouse or anything cheesy. I've uploaded a .pdf of the competitors I have on the Island, other companies throughout the country named "Resort Realty" and three others I find attractive. Specifically, I like the "Perdido Key" concept where the location of the company, "St. George Island" is above and larger than "Resort Realty." The "Dietmar Kilian" logo is interesting because of the rooflines. For our logo, the rooflines would need to be designed in a way that reflects the Island's character.
