Nonprofit needs a logo for an initiative called JA JobSpark, for young people (8th graders) that teaches them about careers through a hands-on career expo, where they try out tools, machines and equipment that people use on their job every day. During the hands-on expo, students will talk to Industry Professionals about what it is like to have a career in their industry. Hands-on activities that event will focus on future in-demand careers that will be available when these 8th grade students graduate from high school. Students will prepare in the classroom for this event by learning about career clusters, career pathways, communication and getting to know the companies and careers that will be focused on at the career expo event. This initiative is meant to “spark” an interest in careers and get students excited for their future.
