Logo for Upper GI cancer foundation

I am starting up a new cancer foundation called Battle Upper GI Cancer (BUGIC). This includes the following cancers - Biliary, Liver, Stomach, Pancreatic and Oesophageal. We intend to help people through their journey battling cancer and provide various types of support on a day to day basis. This will be both personal and financial support.

I would like the logo to be a cool, new look with the image to be driven by words such as battle, fight, support, help, love, care behind it all - not sure if it needs to be the shape of a body part or a shield for battle ? hope that makes sense. Need you to use your imagination please.
