Irish event company looking for dynamic sports event logo

Esto es lo que Run Youghal buscaba en su logo design

We are looking for a logo design for a new sports events. The event will be called the "Run Youghal" - this event is a 10k road race finishing along a coastal path, we plan to add other distances in the future. The logo will be used though all branding / flags / banners / signage, medals etc. I like to see only two colors used, Black and surprise us we are open to anything as long as it's bright!
