Holding Company in need of a Logo

Hello designers, we need a logo design for a new holding company called "Magellan Holdings, Inc.". This holding company will be the parent company for several subsidiaries in F&B (mainly beverages) and real estate (investment) industry.

The logo design should be timeless, more serious than playful, more minimalistic than complex, and should communicate/instill a sense of trust and confidence to clients (similar to name logos of big financial institutions).

More background to the company: the name "Magellan Holdings" is inspired by the historical explorer and navigator, "Ferdinand Magellan", who was best known for leading the first expedition to circumnavigate the globe. Company name was chosen to evoke qualities of the historical figure such as leadership, exploration, and global vision.
