Please help! Need my brand...

I am looking for a logo for my precision machining company. We are a startup that needs a brand that will last. Simple, modern, unique, and perfect is pretty much all that is required. I am open to different ideas, as the logo uploaded was a shot from the hip 6 months ago. We specialize in machining parts in various industries such as aerospace, medical, energy, automotive and marine. Gulfstream luxury private jets its local to Savannah. I would like to have the A in a different style/font that could be a trademark that when they see the A they see AeroMax. I attached the Gulfstream G and the Safran S just for review.
