LOGO for dynamic and historic WOMAN's club with FRESH LOOK

Sippican Woman's Club (SWC) is a 100 year old club in Marion MA. It's mission is all about building friendships, sharing knowledge, and helping others. The club is based out of a historic building, "Handy's Tavern" built in 1812 and a sketch of the Tavern is the current logo. Though the club treasures it's own history and that of the Tavern, it is looking to create a new logo that is more representative of it's mission with a focus on it's nature of being a woman's club. The logo needs to be crisp, direct, easily reproduced for letterhead, media and merchandise. Marion is a seaside village and club is not opposed to a nautical element if simple, but not a must.
