New Logo for Reptile Show circuit

Creating a Show Circuit for Reptiles. Think Dog shows, but for pet snakes and lizards. The name will be the American Reptile Showcase Association. We need a logo...we are thinking a 4 pointed star but that doesn't have to be in it. Ball Pythons and Gecko's are the largest portion of this hobby so, if you can figure out a way to incorporate one or both into the design, even better? This will be the first of it's kind organization so, the logo needs to be professional. Not cartoony. We operate a reptile specific genetics testing service specifically for the reptile industry. I have attached our logo as an example of what we are trying to convey. We don't want to copy that logo...simply keep that level of professional messaging through imagery for this new organization.
