These pizzas leverage few ingredients but are incredibly flavorful and are baked in 90 seconds in a wood-fired brick oven. The pizzas are traditionally unsliced and are eaten with a knife and fork, so the ubiquitous triangular pizza slice would be misleading for this restaurant. Key elements to the pizza are the spotted crust, the dollops of cheese in the red sauce, as opposed to complete cheese coverage, and the basil leaf. Other recognizable icons are the igloo-shaped brick ovens, the oven fire or flames, the bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and Pulcinella, a clownish character who wears a white outfit with a black masquerade mask and can be holding a pizza.
