I just started a document destruction/paper shredding company called Shred Dox. I service both residential homes and commercial businesses with an emphasis on business.

In the US, Businesses are required by law to destroy (by shredding, burning or pulverizing) personal and private information about their clients, their employees and their operations. Individuals have also become aware of the dangers of simply throwing away sensitive personal data such as credit card statements, bills, bank statements, and the like. All businesses must shred their confidential paper whether its done by the secretary or outsourced to a business like mine.

This is to protect against identity theft. My target market is small to medium businesses mostly the medical industry, business, dental, finance, accountants etc. Some of my more well known competition are Cintas, Shred it, Iron Mountain, Gone 4 Good Shred.
