electrical contractors logo design

we need a logo design for an electrical contractor which provides electrical installations. 2 ideas spring to mind- 1 making the "AB" into the logo with Electrical (UK) Ltd underneath. 2 the use of electrical cables and the actual flow of electrons kind of like lightning but not. theres some ideas in the photos I like the idea of 2 cable ends one on one side one on the other with the current jumping from one to the other like lightning spelling out AB Electrical (UK) Ltd.
you should get the idea from the photos. it does need to be clear and easy to read to some extent as it will be on the vans.
