Creative tech consultancy needs logo to de-tech technology

Esto es lo que Folktronica buscaba en su logo design

Folktronica makes technology work for ordinary folk by creating new brand experiences, new brand stories and new brand behaviours.
In terms of tone, I’m looking for something that connects the new and innovative with the simple, human and natural.
Logos I like for this are Innocent, Ben & Jerries, Theo’s chocolate, Bob’s Red Mill, Food for Life baking company – but these are generally too in the past, how would you modernize that look? Colours should be natural.
I’m looking for treatment of the word and a visual concept.
The logo needs to work on a website, business cards and (hopefully one day) behind a reception in a nice office.
