Need logo that conveys trust and integrity for a financial planning firm!

We are a Northern California based Financial Planning firm that is looking for a modern logo that conveys experience, progressive thinking, trust, and integrity to clients. The name of the firm is Pennington Financial Group.

Logo: You are free to create an image that you think represents our core mission, I've included some language to help with the brainstorming process. We like the idea of a tree but if you go in that direction we want it to be more progressive than the current logo which you can see on the draft of the website (attached).
