Logo for a family and joyful festival around scallops with a Breton touch

I need a logo for a french festival called "La fête de la coquille St Jacques", which can be translated by "The scallop festival".
The festival takes place in Villard-de-Lans, a ski resort in the french Alps, during winter.
It is an epicurean, open air, cheerful festival around scallops. The festival is inspired by Breton Fest-Noz (sort of celtic night festival but in brittany http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fest_Noz) and people gather there to dance an eat good food. You can picture it like a celtic fisherman village festival rather than a black tie event, even if first class Chefs from all around France come to the festival to prepare scallops in their own way (that composant can also be reflected in the logo but not necessarily).

All scallops consumed in the festival come from the same place : la baie de st brieuc

I attached the 2011 edition poster which contains the current logo (yes the scallops with eyes and hair...) and title.
