Blue Dolphin Cottage

This project is to design a sign for the side of my beach house. The house name will be Blue Dolphin Cottage. The inspiration is "The Island of the Blue Dolphins" about San Nicolas Island in California. San Nicolas was also the name of my street growing up. Second, as a former submarine officer, dolphins are the sign of submarine qualification (although submarine dolphins are mahi mahi type dolphins, not mammals). Finally, my wife gave me a bowl with a blue dolphin as a wedding present.
The sign should have the name "Blue Dolphin Cottage" included. Currently the house is dark brown cedar shake, but that will be replaced with yellow siding in the near future, so it should be visable on the side of a yellow house. Leer más
