Nordic blacksmith hand tattoo coverup

The design is somewhat limited as it will have to accommodate the current tattoos on my hand which are mostly removed but will mean very light areas won’t work well on the old tattoos.

Knotwork, ravens, hammers (as I’m a blacksmith) and runes are all important.

The original tattoos are a Valknot which I want covered with something else. A raven which I do like the idea of but it was poorly tattooed. And the runes on my fingers. The runes on my fingers id like overlaid with other runes.

The attached pictures aren’t designs I want copied they’re just interesting designs I liked the look of and the style of.

Since it’s a coverup, darker areas work better. Leer más
